Receiving the ball under pressure - beat the player or use a teammate
technical04:544,156 views

This line passing exercise allows players to receive the ball under light pressure and use a disguise or skill to beat the player, or use a teammate who makes an angle to receive the ball. This can be used in preparation for a small sided game involving pressure on the ball

Context

The coach from this team wanted us to work with the players on receiving the ball from the keeper and dealing with pressure from players approaching from the retreat line. His players were receiving the ball and panicking.
