Warm Ups & Arrival Activities

A good, dynamic warm up prepares your players physically, emotionally & mentally for the session ahead. It can incorporate technical exercises too, whilst decreasing the chances of muscular injury. When working with younger players, a great way to engage them and warm them up at the start of a session is an Arrival Activity. It is particularly helpful if players arrive at different times or you are still setting up your session so need to keep players productively occupied.
