Working with a group of 8 (though you could have 6 or more), you have 2 designated defenders, 2 setters and 4 passers. The setters work with 4 passers, in one of 2 connected boxes, making it a 6v2 situation. They try to use possession to move the defenders and play a ball into one of the setters, who positions themself on the midline between the two boxes. The setter looks to set the ball back for a passer to then play a throughball into the next box. The throughball is aimed at a 3rd man runner, who looks to receive the ball whilst moving and dribble over the edge of the box. All players transition into the new box, and a new 6v2 situation begins. You could change defenders after each mistake or turn over of possession, but giving players a set time in their roles allows them to craft their technique.
