In this small sided game, players begin with a small numerical advantage in a relatively tight space. Switching to the other wing increases the space available to them. Then a diagonal ball can increase their space even more. Finally, one more switch and they have a significant numerical advantage and a large space to try to dribble over the opponents' end line. The basic idea is, for every successful switch of play, the passing team earn more space to play in - so make the pitch bigger with your build up play!
